Visit and demonstration at the Chalet d'Alpage de La Neuve

Description

Breakfast or cold meet plate at the mountain pasture and demonstration of the making (between 8:00 and 11:00am).

This offer is aimed at all publics, individuals, families, who wish to discover the tradition of alpine cheese making in a convivial and educational way. Guided by the local craftsmen, you can watch the cheese being made and enjoy a local breakfast, served on the terrace, with a magnificent view of the Jura mountains.

From 11 am, breakfast is replaced by a plate of cheese and mountain meats.

- 15 min by car from Blonay train station or 1 hour on foot from Place des Pautex
- 30 min by car from Montreux/ Vevey/ Châtel St Denis
- 45 min by car from Lausanne

IMPORTANT NOTES

The La Neuve mountain pasture is open to all, free of charge. However, a few important rules are recommended. They are posted at the entrance of the building, please respect them.
As a large part of the reception is outside, it is not possible to organise visits during bad weather.

SMALL RESTAURANT ON THE PLACE, every day from 10am to 6pm, only by reservation in the evening.
