Located in a haven of peace right along the shores of Lake Geneva, Hotel du Grand Lac Excelsior**** takes to provide you with a perfect stay.
Whatever your favorite activities are, we will make sure they are fulfilled. Whether you would like to dine within our gourmet restaurant, relax in our Wellness Center, swim in our semi-olympic pool, take a walk through our beautiful gardens, it is all within the hotel.
Among other benefits received by our guests are free local transportation with the Riviera card.

Arrival (Check-in/Check-out)

The hotel is located directly by the lake. Motorway exit Montreux : drive through the city centre. Before the railway bridge, turn right (see hotel sign) Motorway exit Villeneuve : at the entrance of Montreux, after the railway bridge, turn left (see hotel sign)
Public parking on the street, max. 3 hours with blue disk of car park. You can buy daily parking card at the front disk

Die Lage des Hotels und die Sicht auf den See sind fantastisch. Ebenso das Frühstück.

What were your negative impressions?

Die Infrastruktur ist in die Jahre gekommen und eine Neueinrichtung wäre notwendig (Teppiche im Zimmer und auf den Korridoren, Badewanne kaputt, defekte oder unschön geflickte Polster, nicht funktionierende Lampen).

Die Klassifizierung als ****-Hotel stimmt überhaupt nicht. Das Hotel war vielleicht in den 1960-er Jahren modern, nun wäre eine Sanierung angezeigt. Manches ***-Hotel in der Schweiz bietet mehr!!

What were your negative impressions?

Rezeption mit uneinheitlich angezogenen Leuten (kein einheitlicher Look), die an irgendeinem Problem herumbrüten und nicht aufmerksam sind.

Quelle vue WAHOOO ! Grandiose Le réceptionniste du check-out, les bouteilles d'eaux du minibar étaient ouvertes et Monsieur nous a gentiment offert le minibar

What were your negative impressions?

L'accueil était fait à la va-vite, aucune explication rien! Chambre très confortable mais ne ressemblant en rien aux photos du site. Le service du petit déjeuner vite débordé par les clients . service lent. Nous avons laissé notre valise avec 4 roues mais elle est revenue avec 3 et un fou rire de la réceptionniste... un peu abusé!

Eine Juniorsuite für 3 Erwachsene mit 2. Bad alles sehr schön renoviert und einmalige Seesicht und direktem Promenadenzugang. Durch die Randlage sehr schön ruhig und trotzdem zentral

What were your negative impressions?

Die Pasta im Restaurant am Abend sind nicht zu empfehlen und die Portion viel zu gross, die restlichen Speisen sind ok, wenn man dort essen will.
