pour une première, un week end juste magnifique l'équipe de réservation au top , l'hôtel super bien situé, super accueil,très belle chambre. restaurateur chaleureux; marché de Noël, village de Caux et maison du père Noël exceptionnels que du positif a refaire merci à tous de nous avoir un week end exceptionnel !!!

Es gab nicht einmal einen Eiskaffe zu trinken. Als Alternative wurde mit ein Latte-Macciato mit Eiswürfeln serviert !! Ist dies der Sandard für ein Grand-Hotel?? 22.30 Uhr Hotelbar bereits geschlossen.

Sehr gutes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Frühstück war wunderbar. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und speditiv, das Buffet war ordentlich und wurde immer aufgefüllt. Die Betten und das Zimmer generell war tip top.

What were your negative impressions?

Leider war das mit der Dusche nicht so optimal. Was man leider immer wieder erlebt ist, dass die Duschen nicht dicht sind und das halbe Badezimmer überschwemmt wird. Für mich wäre es besser das Zimmer etwas zu verkleinern, zugunsten der Nasszelle.

Wunderbare Hotellage mit Blick auf den See und in die Berge. Sehr ideale Lage neben dem Bahnhof. Danke, dass wir ganz kurzfristig noch eine zusätzliche Nacht buchen konnten. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen, natürlich spielte das Wetter bestens mit und der Swissetec Anlass bot sehr Vieles mit bester Organisation.

Der Umsteller bei der Badewanne funktionierte nicht ganz perfekt. Ein Mischer bei der Badewanne und Lavabo wäre idealer. Die Informationen betreffend einem Ausflug auf dem See mit einer Schifffahrt waren mangelhaft.

The hotel has an excellent location, it was very clean, the reception staff we professional, polite and extremely helpful. The conference and banqueting staff were outstanding. The restaurant staff were very flexible and accommodating.

Dreckige Teppiche im ganzen Hotel mit Brandlöchern von Zigaretten. Mief wie in einer alten Bahnhofshalle. Das Zimmer klein und dreckig. Das Frühstück, na ja nicht Besonderes! Missverständnis bez. Rechnung beim Auschecken. Alles in allem, viel zu teuer für so eine Absteige! Montreux verpasst es offenbar in die Zukunft zu investieren?! Es kann sein, dass andere Gäste einen besseren Eindruck haben?!

Très belle situtation de l'hôtel avec vue sur le lac au petit-déjeuner : un vrai plaisir ! Personnel aimable et efficace.

Problème de chauffage dans le chambre (18°C à l'arrivée), mise à disposition d'un chauffage d'appoint mais électricité coupée lorsqu'on enlève la carte qui sert d'ouverture de la porte. Sinon, chauffage soufflant et bruyant la nuit. Dommage de n'avoir pas pensé à mettre un sèche-serviette chauffant dans la salle de bain pour réchauffer l'atmosphère l'hiver.

Positiv: unkompliziert, freundlich, schöne Zimmer, super Aussicht.

Frühstücksbuffet hätte abwechslungsreicher sein können, z. B. auch mal Brötchen statt Brot. Beim Frühstück fehlte dem Personal der Überblick, wer neu gekommen war und so dauerte es z. T. sehr lange, bis der Tisch für den nächsten Gast wieder hergerichtet war. Auch auf Kaffee musste man sehr lange warten.

Preis / Leistung stimmt nicht. Auch im Restaurant. Speisen meist zu teuer und manchmal übersalzen. Frühstück eigentlich für 4 Sternen - Hotel sehr sparsam. Zimmerservice-eine Katastrofe :-( Zimmer nicht sauber gewesen. Hamam und Sauna - komische "Arbeitszeiten (bis 19. Uhr). Hamam war sehr kalt und "ngeniessbar" Insgesamt Eindruck, dass dem Hotel etwas fehlt.

Da durch Ab- und Wiederanmeldung dem Hotel ein Fehler passierte (was nicht hätte sein dürfen...), bemühten sie sich um ein Ersatzzimmer.

Leider war nur noch im Eden au lac etwas frei, offenbar gleiche Sternen-Kategorie, aber heruntergekommen bis ins Elend, dennoch Fr. 200.-!!! Solche Schweizer-Hotellerie verdirbt den Ruf total! Ich hätte sogar Fotos dazu!

Betten sind mit Daunendecken zu heiss. Kaschmirdecken, resp. Schafschurwolldecken wären besser. Tipp: SAMINA der Toaster am Frühstücksbuffet gehört ins Museum! Ein Stromfresser, Fingerverbrenner, Zeitverschwender - aber es war ein Erlebnis, einmal so auf einen guten Toast zu hoffen ;-)

The staff was extremely helpful both with changes and payment which I did before the stay. Also when checking out there wasn't any problems with this. In most of the hotels there is usually some noise coming from other rooms and the hallways 24/7. This was certainly not the case at this hotel. Even with the balcony facing the restaurant and bar. Breakfast was great. Healthy and more quality then quantity. Great location in the city compared to transport and the conference center.

What were your negative impressions?

Just one small thing. Would have liked a Wifi access that could be used for all my electronic devises (phone, iPad, laptop). Although I'm sure the front-desk could have helped me just didn't have time to ask.

Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter bei Frühstücksbuffet könnte besser sein. Kann auch dran liegen, dass es erst morgens früh und deswegen auch nicht weiter tragisch.

The style of the hotel was lovely. The balcony's are perfection and are such a lovely feature of each room. The breakfast room/restaurant is fabulous, as is the use of the bar in the winter by having a marquee - would love to come back in Summer when the full use of the balcony is in place.

What were your negative impressions?

The technology in the hotel is still behind some hotels (i.e. credit card guarantee is still on the old manual machines). Having rooms below reception was a strange concept, I was worried I was not going to have any natural daylight. Wireless internet seemed to only work on 1 device (i.e. cannot connect laptop and phone). The gym needs to open earlier than 8am. I was there on business and wanted to get exercise in before I started my meetings which I had for 8:30am.
